Welcome to Oasis Auto Spa NJ, a car wash and detailing service provider based in Garfield, New Jersey. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and related offerings. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

We provide car wash, detailing, and window tinting services, including carbon and ceramic film applications. All services are subject to availability and may vary based on vehicle size, condition, or additional requirements.

  • Base Packages: Prices listed on our website are for base packages. Additional charges may apply based on vehicle size (e.g., SUVs, trucks), condition (e.g., excessive dirt), or add-on services (e.g., waxing, interior cleaning).
  • Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice, subject to fulfilling existing bookings.

2. Payment

  • All payments must be made at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Prices are subject to New Jersey sales tax (6.625%) for taxable services, as outlined by the New Jersey Division of Taxation.
  • Additional charges will be communicated before services are performed. Failure to pay may result in service refusal.

3. Warranties

  • Carbon Film: We provide a 1-year limited warranty on carbon film applications, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, misuse, or improper maintenance.
  • Ceramic Film: We provide a 2-year limited warranty on ceramic film applications, subject to the same conditions as above.
  • Warranty Claims: Claims must be reported via email to support@oasisautosanj.com or in person at 468 River Drive, Garfield, New Jersey 07026 within the warranty period. Proof of service is required. We will inspect the vehicle and, at our discretion, repair or replace defective film. No cash refunds will be issued.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Non-Refundable Packages: Car wash and detailing packages are non-refundable once services are rendered.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel a booking at least 24 hours in advance without charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to the base package price.
  • Disputes: Any claims or disputes must be reported via email to support@oasisautosanj.com or in person at 468 River Drive, Garfield, New Jersey 07026 within 7 days of service. We will investigate and respond within 14 days.

5. Liability

  • Accessories: We are not responsible for damage to accessories attached to your vehicle (e.g., antennas, spoilers, bike racks). We will exercise reasonable care to avoid damage.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Issues: We are not liable for electrical issues (e.g., power window failures) or mechanical issues (e.g., engine problems) that may occur coincidentally during or after our services.
  • Customer Property: You are responsible for removing personal belongings from your vehicle before service. We are not liable for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing vehicle conditions (e.g., loose paint, cracked glass).

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Disclose any vehicle conditions (e.g., damaged paint, loose parts) before service.
  • Ensure your vehicle is in a safe condition for washing or detailing.
  • Follow post-service care instructions, especially for window tinting, to maintain warranty validity.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to enhance our services, including:

  • Advertisement Companies: To deliver personalized ads on our website or third-party platforms.
  • Twilio: For SMS communications (e.g., appointment reminders).
  • Email Service Providers: For newsletters, confirmations, and promotions.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review. We are not responsible for their actions or omissions.

8. Website Use

  • Our website is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.
  • You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized access to our systems or data.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including weather, equipment failure, or government orders.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey.
  • Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, in the state or federal courts of New Jersey, with venue in Bergen County.
  • You agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Oasis Auto Spa NJ, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
